Playing the Game

Once both profiles are set and you’ve started a game, here’s how a game of Rooms of Intimacy actually flows.

Rooms of Intimacy game board

Three ways to play

Choose the style that fits your space and your mood:

  1. Move around the home — when you have the place to yourselves, perform each card’s activity in the actual room it names. Land on the “kitchen” space? Head to the kitchen for that activity. It adds variety and fun.
  2. Stay in one room (with exceptions) — play entirely in one room (say, your bedroom), no matter which space you land on. You only move if a card specifically tells you to.
  3. One room only — select all locations during setup, but keep every activity in a single room (handy for a hotel, or when others are home). You never leave that room.

Taking a turn

  1. The wife always goes first.
  2. On your turn you’re the receiving player; when it’s not your turn, you’re the giving player.
  3. The receiving player taps the dice to roll, and the game moves them automatically.
  4. When you land on a space, the game picks a card that fits the space, the current game stage, your dress level, and the toys & activities you both allow.
  5. The giving player taps Start to begin the timer, then performs the activity on the receiving player until the timer ends or the activity is complete.
  6. The receiving player is asked whether they were satisfied with how it was performed.

Not satisfied? If the receiving player taps “No,” the giving player is sent to the Secret Play Room, where a Secret-deck card decides an activity the receiving player performs on them. Then the turn ends.

Play then passes — the giving player becomes the new receiving player, and you keep taking turns.

Ending the game

A game ends when either:

  • Both players agree to end it, or
  • Both players have drawn and completed a card that allows them to orgasm.
