Toys for Men
Sex toys made for men are more popular than ever — over the last decade there’s been a surge of pleasure products designed specifically for penises, in countless styles and designs. Here’s a tour of the main types. (Find them at our sister store, Romantic Blessings.)
Penis rings (and vibrating rings)
Penis rings come in plastic, silicone, metal, leather, and more. Worn around the shaft (or the shaft and testicles), they gently restrict blood flow, which can make an erection look fuller and, for some, last longer — and many report more powerful orgasms. Many rings add a small vibrator that pleasures both spouses at once.
- Adjustable rings are ideal for beginners — easy to put on, offer different levels of constriction, and quick to remove if it gets too intense. They can be worn at the base or behind the testicles, often at beginner-friendly prices.
- Non-adjustable rings are firm and best for experienced users. Worn behind the testicles in a specific size, so use a size chart to measure correctly — the right fit helps prevent injury. (Metal and steel rings aren’t for beginners.)
Penis pumps
Penis pumps use vacuum and suction to draw extra blood to the penis, temporarily increasing length and girth. They can help with erectile difficulties and increase sensitivity, and come hand-operated or battery-powered (some with vibration). To maintain the effect during intercourse, put on a penis ring before pumping and wear it during play.
Prostate massagers
The prostate (the “P-spot”) is a walnut-sized gland about two inches inside the anus. Stimulating it can feel highly pleasurable — and prostate massage can support prostate health, too. Some men can orgasm from prostate stimulation alone, even without an erection. As with any anal toy, choose non-porous, sterilizable materials, always with a flared base, and start small.
Strokers & sleeves
Strokers and sleeves are soft, squishy tubes that pleasure the penis by emulating the sensation of being inside the body. Some are textured or molded; some add vibration or automatic motion. Most are made of soft elastomers (TPE/TPR), so use plenty of lubricant for a smooth glide. Shorter open-ended sleeves can also be used during oral play, or as a “bumper” to reduce depth during intercourse.
Vibrators aren’t just for her
Standard vibrators — bullets, eggs, wands, and more — aren’t gender-specific. They can pleasure the glans, shaft, testicles, and perineum — any external spot that feels good — on their own or paired with a stroker. Handy toys, indeed.
